### Grant report:
This is the first report of Paul Evans' successful grant award. He continues his contributions to the Perl Core. His work is diverse and related to activities out of sight of much of the community. Currently we attribute much of the work of integrating a robust Perlish OOP Paradigm into the Core to Paul, but as member of the [Perl Steering Council](https://blogs.perl.org/users/psc/) he has his hands on many components of this very important language. This is a tricky balancing act, respecting parts of what we like about Perl and retaining backwards compatibility, while at the same time making the core progressively more robust and feature rich. It is difficult to collect all his contributions to Perl but as part of his grant he has submitted three security releases in November and in December added `av_unshift_sv` into Perl's Core [PR #21731](https://github.com/Perl/perl5/pull/21731).
