Volunteers needed: Mailing list support for the perl.org lists

If you have been wondering how you can help out, <a href="http://www.askbjoernhansen.com/archives/2005/12/14/listowner.html">here is one way</a>. :-)
A quick introduction:
If you don't know me, I am looking after many of the <a href="http://noc.perl.org/">perl.org services</a> with Robert Spier. When I started I helped look after the majordomo system it was running on <a href="http://web.archive.org/web/19981212031825/http://www.perl.org/">then</a>. Soon after I moved the lists and the websites we hosted to a computer under my desk at "ValueClick":http://www.valueclick.com/ where I did work back then. Later Perl.org got moved to a better server and installed in the ValueClick colocation facility where it stayed for ~4 years.
A few years ago "Ticketmaster":http://www.ticketmaster.com/ helped us get our own rack at the wonderful "IX2":http://ix2.net/ facility and our own bandwidth from "Internap":http://internap.com/. We know have a "full rack":http://flickr.com/photos/ask/3339785/ of old servers. The mailing list server is one of the 1U Dell servers near the bottom of the rack (donated by "ShopZilla":http://www.shopzilla.com/). We actually have the rack next to this one too now, but it's almost empty. Robert and I are planning to go and spend a day there around christmas and install some new (old) stuff in the empty rack and do some re-organizing. We post updates on that sort of thing in the "Perl NOC Log":http://log.perl.org/ occasionally.

My Name is Shashi and I have 10+ years of experience in IT as an admin. I'm very much interested in Perl , but i have been struggling to expand my expertise in Perl.
