Can you spare half an hour to take part in an interview for a research project into episodic, or occasional, participation in the Perl and Raku communities?
In July last year [we announced](https://news.perlfoundation.org/post/annbarcombstudylaunch) the launch of research conducted by Dr Ann Barcomb of the University of Calgary, in collaboration with The Perl Foundation. The results will be provided as a TPF report and will assist the community in improving practices for managing episodic participation to provide insights into what free / libre / open source software projects could do to become more sustainable.
145 people responded to the survey providing some fantastic insight. Aadharsh Hariharan, Graduate Research Assistant, said: “We got really great responses. It really helped us carry the research project forward and we thank you all for the contribution. The next stage now is to undertake one on one interviews.”
The research team is asking the community to take part in interviews that should take 30 to 45 minutes. The meetings can be scheduled at your convenience via [Calendly](https://calendly.com/aadharsh-hariharan/tpf-research-interview).
Your support is greatly appreciated by the research team and TPF, and we hope to see the findings of the research published later in the Spring.
