The Grants Committee has concluded the voting of the July 2018 round. My apologies for the delay.
There was one proposal this round, which was not approved.
* [Perl as piano sheet music/compiler/synthesizer](http://news.perlfoundation.org/2018/08/grant-proposal-perl-as-piano-s.html)
Voting results: Not approved: 5 no votes, 4 abstentions
Concerns from the committee included a lack of clarity on whether this was a continuation of an existing project or new development, and
issues with the proposed syntax, esp. in relation to prior art (e.g. LilyPond).
The benefit to the community was not clear.
