I am pleased to announce that Dave Mitchell's request to have his "Fixing Perl5 Core Bugs":http://news.perlfoundation.org/2010/02/grant-proposal-fixing-perl5-co.html grant "extended":http://news.perlfoundation.org/2011/09/fixing-perl5-core-bugs---grant-1.html has been successful.
