- This discussion was held a few days before the decision to [replace TPCiH 2020 with Conference in the Cloud](https://news.perlfoundation.org/post/tprcic_announce) was made and it's outdated, but we keep it here as a record
- TPCiH leadership (Todd Rinaldo, Lena Hand and Dawn Wallis) was invited to this part of the meeting
- Discussion points
- The existing contract requires us to pay the cancellation fee if we cancel TPCiH
- We will explore options. The venue has been supportive for us
- No speakers cancelled attendance yet
- There's general travel difficulties of attendees
- Ticket sales are in the same level as last year at this point
- Attendees' health and safety are more important than financials
- We have enough reasons to postpone
- Board is supportive of TPC team with whatever needed
- We will reconvene next Tuesday same time to decide
- Alternative TPC arrangements in the future
- Look at this as an opportunity to change
- Option: Regular series of online conference
- DCBPW sent a survey, idea of virtual conference and screencast was raised. We may send a survey to the TPCiH speakers
- Online conference carries another kind of difficulty. People like to meet in person

- TPF will prepare a statement
- Idea: Set up a memorial fund with his name
- Dave R to discuss options with the community leaders
- Separately, Dave R to collect statements from the community and collate statement

- Stuart discussed existing and new committees; CAT, fundraising & sponsorship, grants, conference & events, volunteer management, marketing
- Curtis to introduce a potential candidate to manage volunteers
- Parrot fund closure
- The Parrot Foundation is now closed and the balance of $15,000 was transferred to Perl 6 development fund.
- Advisory board
- Thanks note at 2-year anniversary will be sent to all of us for "renewal"
- Decision: Set up "Advisory Board"
- Membership: Retiree + some others, TBD
- Grants Committee budget
- Decision: $500 grant is approved
- Separately, Coke's Secretary backfill was discussed
