The Perl Foundation is pleased to announce the first "Hague Grant":http://www.perlfoundation.org/ian_hague_perl_6_development_grants. It is being awarded to Patrick Michaud, the head of the 'Rakudo' Perl 6 implementation effort on top of the Parrot VM.
